Purchasing Supervisor

Vac-Con is looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead our purchasing team and help keep our manufacturing operation running smoothly. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by ensuring the right materials arrive at the right time, controlling costs, and helping our production team succeed. Lead, coach, and develop our purchasing team. Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms. Use data, forecasting, and demand planning to anticipate material needs. Keep inventory levels balanced while preventing shortages and excess stock. Partner with Production, Operations, Engineering, and Quality to keep things moving. Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing performance. Drive continuous improvement and smarter procurement processes. 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment . Supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Experience with ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes. Strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a knack for solving problems. Experience with forecasting and demand planning is a plus. A hands-on leader who can think strategically while staying connected to daily operations.
