RN / Registered Nurse - Infusion

Overview Amerita is a specialty infusion company that provides complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients in their homes. Location Humble, TX Schedule Monday‑Friday; some weekends, evenings, and on‑call duties per a flexible per diem schedule. Adhere to policies, procedures, and state laws governing infusion nursing services and pharmacy services. Follow INS and IgNS standards of practice, CDC guidelines, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Collaborate with pharmacy staff, sales partners, ordering providers, and patients to develop and monitor therapeutic goals. Complete patient‑care documentation, including home or AIS records. Manage vascular access devices, including insertion of peripheral infusion devices and drawing labs via peripheral venipuncture. Educate patients and caregivers. Evaluate progress toward goals and recommend plan modifications to physicians. Coordinate nursing care with home health and community agencies as needed. Participate in on‑call rotations per branch protocol. Track and submit monthly expense reports, mileage, and incidental expenses. Complete annual competencies and mandatory training by assigned due dates. No supervisory responsibility. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Valid nursing license in the state(s) of practice. Minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse. Preferred experience in infusion and home health care. Preferred extensive IV therapy experience. Current CPR certification. Flexible schedule and availability for a variety of shift models. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Must meet company driving record and age requirements. 100% travel; regular driving to patient homes is required. Physical Requirements Requires constant sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, stooping, and typing. Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry 10–30 lbs.
