Commercial Director

job summary:
Leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Commercial Director.

This role comes with an excellent compensation plan with a salary that can go up to $300k plus a 22% annual bonus and completion bonus.

The ideal candidate will possess experience leading commercial functions capital infrastructure programs exceeding $300M in value in large construction or EPC environments.

responsibilities:
-Commercial Director will serve as the commercial leader and strategic advisor for the companies multi-billion dollar expansion project. This roll will be accountable for defining and executing the program's commercial, contractural, procurement, cost management and commercial assurance strategies.

Commercial Leadership:

-Project commercial leadership to include commercial strategy development and implementation, leadership of commercial activities across the project lifecycle

Commercial Strategy and Procurement:

-Develop and execute commercial, contracting and procurement strategies aligned to program objectives, business requirements and investments

Cost Management and Commercial Assurance:

-Established and maintain program-wide cost management, forecasting and financial reporting processes

Commercial Goverance:

-Develop and maintain commercial goverance frameworks, policies, and controls across the program

Risk and Claims Management:

-Lead the identification, assessment and mitigation of commercial and contractual risks throughout the program lifecycle

Education & Experience:

-Minimum 10 years of direct work experience leading commercial functions capital infrastructure programs exceeding $300M

-Bachelor's degree

-Demonstrated relevant operational commercial experience in a commercial lead, or equivalent role with expertise across; contract strategy, procurement, cost management, commercial governance, claims management, supplier management and commercial risk

-EPC/EPCM delivery models
