Heat Transfer Associate

Description

Summary:

This fast-paced position uses Heat Presses to adhere custom items to products such as swimwear, clothing, and nylon flags. Customizing lanyards, vinyl flags, and other items is also the responsibility of this department. On a daily basis, the emplyee will use paper and computer files, websites, and other means to verify the customization of product is correct.

Essential Functions/Primary Duties:

· Must be able to stand with considerable walking and upper body movement throughout shift.

· Keep and consistently update paper filing system.

· Ability to Quality Check incoming product by noticing color and alignment mistakes.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve.

· Will be responsible for ordering supplies as needed, online and over the phone.

· Will send supplies to other locations, upon request.

· Ability to follow picture and written insturction to ensure customziation is correct.

· Time management is very important. Must be able to do daily tasks, as well as complete all orders within the time frame expected.

· Communication via e-mail, text, and phone calls between departments is frequent.

· This position relies heavily on the ability to learn company computer programs, printer, and plotter

· Learnd, understand, and follow current workflows and processes

· Daily usage of ERM and graphics software

· Cooperate with other areas within the department and with all departments within the company

· Maintains clean and organized work areas

Requirements

Education/Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Basic understanding/prior usage of computer software

Success of Role

· Average order lead time of less than 2 business days year-round

· Clear, consistent communication with supervisor and department leads when assistance is needed

Working Conditions:

The work environment is a warehouse environment and includes frequent changes in temperature depending on outdoor climate and occasional loud noises with no exposure to hazardous materials.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This is not a supervisory role but has the potential to lead to one

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions the job advertised.

· Prolonged periods of standing.

· Lifting up to 50 pounds multiple times a day.

· Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

· Must wear PPE and required and indicated

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical work hours of Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm but may also involve weekends or overtime work during our busy periods of the year.
