Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Apply nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice in all patient interactions
- Provide care to a diverse patient population within a 36-bed private treatment room unit
- Float to other units as required to support staffing needs
- Participate in ongoing staff development and continuing education programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Step Down experience
- Strong cardiac experience and proficiency
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with IMC/PCU/Step Down patient populations and workflows
