Residential Cleaning Pro (Apartment & Office)

Cleans resident apartments, public bathrooms, offices, halls, trash rooms, stairways, elevators and other areas by performing the following duties.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Disinfects equipment and supplies and keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. Maintains cleaning equipment in proper working condition and reports on equipment and/or furniture in need of repair. Cleans unoccupied apartments thoroughly; performs duties such as mopping floors, vacuuming; cleans and washes washroom fixtures; cleans mirrors and inside windows. Cleans occupied resident rooms including vacuuming and mopping and maintaining resident kitchens, bathrooms and balcony in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Cleans other areas such as offices, workrooms, lobbies, classrooms, laundry room and restrooms if assigned. Dusts resident furniture, woodwork, door panels, and sills. Cleans rugs and carpets. Dust mops and wet mops floors; vacuums carpets and rugs. Empties wastebaskets. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Ability to manage time effectively and reprioritize assigned tasks as needed within one hour. Attends in-service programs and meetings as required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position requires a background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
