Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and flexible Cleaning Technician to join our team full-time. This position is different from a traditional cleaning position assigned to one location. The person in this role will work at multiple customer locations and will be responsible for special cleaning projects, assisting with the start-up of new accounts, providing coverage when needed, and helping ensure facilities meet our company's quality standards. The primary work schedule is 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, but candidates must have the flexibility to work occasional daytime hours based on special projects, new account start-ups, training, or coverage needs.

Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed commercial cleaning at various customer locations, assist with the start-up and initial cleaning of new accounts, complete special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments, provide cleaning coverage at locations experiencing staffing shortages or call-outs, assist with occasional day-shift coverage when needed, follow site-specific cleaning instructions and customer requirements, perform duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, restroom cleaning, trash removal, disinfecting, and other commercial cleaning tasks, help prepare new locations to meet company quality standards, identify and report supply, equipment, maintenance, or facility concerns, communicate effectively with supervisors and management, travel between assigned customer locations during the workday as needed, maintain professional and dependable attendance.

What We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in different environments. Candidates should understand that this position may be more physically demanding than a standard cleaning assignment and requires the ability to adjust to changing locations and priorities.

Requirements: Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, ability to travel to multiple job sites throughout the Birmingham metro area, ability to work the primary 4:00 PM–12:00 AM shift, flexibility to work occasional daytime assignments, ability to perform physical cleaning duties for the duration of the shift, ability to bend, stoop, reach, walk, stand, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, dependable attendance and punctuality, commercial cleaning experience preferred, experience with floor care, deep cleaning, or commercial cleaning equipment is a plus.

Important Schedule Information: Primary Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM. This is a full-time, flexible special-projects position. While most hours will be during the evening shift, occasional daytime availability is required. Work locations may vary based on new account start-ups, special projects, and operational coverage needs. Applicants must have dependable transportation and be comfortable traveling between multiple customer locations. Compensation: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour.
