Retail Sales Associate

Compensation Hourly rate: $15.29 – $22.88 per hour. The rate may vary within this range based on location and experience. Annual incentive/commission target: $15,348.00. Responsibilities Explain and demonstrate product capabilities and offer suggestions based on customer needs. Meet or exceed targets regarding customer experience, sales, and retention. Assist with opening and closing the retail environment. Properly handle cash. Participate in workshops, special events, and product demos. Support fellow sales agents when needed. Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training. May be required to work in other locations within the same geographical area. Compensation & Benefits Part‑time: 29 hours per week with a minimum base rate of $16.38 per hour. Targeted commission of $639 per month (subject to achieving sales targets). Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a consultative, solutions‑based approach. Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base. Multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced team environment. Physical ability to stand and walk within the store for long periods. Computer literacy and aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories. Willingness to work a flexible schedule (weekends, evenings, holidays). Ability to lift 25–50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory. Preferred: Some college experience in sales, business, or management. One year of experience in a related field (sales, retail sales, service industry, etc.). Experience selling wireless/mobile products. Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
