About the Role

The Company is seeking a USD Rates Sales VP to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and expanding the Rates Financial Institutions business, with a focus on client segments such as insurance, asset management, and pensions. This role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience, a strong understanding of interest rate derivatives, government bonds, and front-end rates products, and a proven track record of client engagement. The VP will be expected to have significant coding and analytical skills to enhance systems and processes, as well as the ability to develop internal relationships across various product and coverage areas. A deep understanding of the global macro environment, financial markets, and regulatory requirements is essential. Key responsibilities for the USD Rates Sales VP include the distribution and marketing of US interest rate products, supporting the buildout of the Rates Sales function in New York, and liaising with trading partners to ensure competitive pricing. The role also involves handling all related risks, offering consistent and competitive pricing, and supporting the client portfolio build. The ideal candidate should have a strong numerical background, be adept at leveraging Bloomberg functionality, and have a solid understanding of RWA and RoE benchmarks. Strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work across functions to support business growth are also required. The candidate must hold a Series 7, 63 & CISI Qualification and be familiar with current market regulations and risk management practices.
