Job Summary — IN PERSON ONLY

Amazing Grace Christian School is seeking a qualified Elementary School Teacher in the San Diego / Rancho Bernardo area to work with students in 1st through 5th grade .

Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 8:45 AM and 3:00 PM , approximately 5 working/teaching hours per day .

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and supporting their academic and personal growth.
• Strong commitment to elementary education.
• Previous experience teaching or working with 1st–5th grade students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and educational technology.
• Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach and support students in 1st–5th grade elementary classes .
• Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons.
• Support students academically and encourage active participation in learning.
• Supervise and monitor student behavior, progress, and classroom performance.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with school staff as needed to support student learning.
