As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and help address security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and commercial vehicle drivers entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry points, gates, and access-control systems; maintain accurate logs of visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
