Job Summary
The healthcare organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse for a temporary position in a dynamic hospital setting. The role involves supporting various critical care units, including ICU, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), and Med-Surgical floors, with a focus on patient transport and acute care. The position offers daily shifts during days, with the opportunity to work a flexible and fast-paced environment supporting multiple units within the hospital.

Job Details

• Position Description: Supportive ICU RN role with emphasis on clinical interviewing in the Emergency Department, supporting units including ICU, PCU, MS (Medical-Surgical), and ED Holding. Main duties include patient transport, clinical support, and unit assistance, floating across units within scope.
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale).
• Education & Experience: Appropriate RN licensure, required certifications, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in relevant units.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, experience in ICU, PCU, or Med-Surgical units, and skills such as cardiac rhythm interpretation, ventilator management, and invasive line management.
• Additional Information: Support includes high-acuity patient care, patient transport, and unit support. Orientation includes 2 days of hospital training and 1 day on the assigned unit. Flexibility to float within scope of practice, with specific focus on ICU and emergency care.
• Submission Instructions: All candidates must contact RMC staffing office within 30-45 minutes of shift start to receive assignment details and ensure timely arrival.
