Service Clerk - 331 Banning Location: 2971 W. Ramsey Street, Banning, California, 92220, United States. Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour. Responsibilities Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas. Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and loading their vehicles. Check retail prices on shelving for check stand personnel. Pull merchandise from the check stand (“go backs”) and return it to the proper shelf. Walk aisles and return any misplaced items to their correct location. Face merchandise on aisles as needed. Monitor cleanliness of the store entrance: sweep the front area inside and outside, pick up and empty trash regularly, mop outside walkways, and clean entrance/exit doors daily. Maintain cleanliness throughout the day: sweep, mop, clean, and restock restrooms as needed. Qualifications Read and write English, and interact with the general public and co‑workers. Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions. Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds. Preferred Skills Basic PC/Outlook skills. Retail Management Certificate.
