Radiologic Technologist Full Time West Point, NE, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1186 Franciscan Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and playing a vital role in the diagnostic process. In this role, you will work closely with patients and providers to capture high-quality diagnostic images that help guide treatment and improve health outcomes. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam, and operate imaging equipment with precision and care. You’ll also apply your expertise in radiation protection and safety practices to maintain the highest standards of patient and staff safety. Hours: Minimum 36 hours/week to include days, weekends, and call rotation ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Using proper radiation protection and precautions, prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment. Positions patients to obtain appropriate radiographic exposures. Operates film processing equipment. Maintains computerized records, files, and/or reports. Participates in audits as required. Participates in quality control and quality assurance testing. Assists the supervising radiologist with administrative functions. QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in the state and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. Possession of a CPR certification required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Prolonged standing. May require lifting of up to 50 pounds with assistance. When involved with patient handling tasks and weight to be lifted exceeds 35 lbs., assistive devices should be used. Routinely lift 10- 20 pounds. Ability to push, pull, reach and lift at all heights. Requires ability to work under high stress emergency situations or among patients with serious illnesses or communicable diseases.
