Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in the operating room at a short-term acute care facility
• Perform circulating duties across surgical service lines including orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatric procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation, which may include 1–2 weekday call shifts per week and 1–2 weekend call shifts per month
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Proficiency in orthopedic, general, gynecological, and podiatry surgical procedures
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation as required by the facility
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify under travel compliance guidelines
• Clean background; facility does not accept background or Nursys hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Operating Room setting
• Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
• Flexibility to float to sister facilities nearby the contracted location if operationally required
