Job Summary Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hiring Range: $37.75 - $79.52 Schedule Details: Holidays - One Major Summer Holiday, Holidays - One Major Winter Holiday Scheduled Hours: varies Shift: 4 - Mixed Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America) Hours: 0 Cost Center: 26000 - 0150 NSG Float Pool Union: MNA-Milford Regional Medical Center (Massachusetts Nurses Association) Signing Bonus: This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process. Position Summary Responsible for the planning, delivery and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice. Major Responsibilities Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population. Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure. Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning. Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical setting. Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level. Position Qualifications Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration. BLS through either American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) is a requirement for every RN within 30 days of hire. ACLS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (Gannett, MP1, ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Endo, IR, PACU, Float Pool) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. PALS through American Heart Association (AHA) required in select areas (PACU, ED) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. NRP Advanced Provider through American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) required in select areas (Maternity) within 6 months or first scheduled course offering whichever is sooner. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred. Experience & Skills Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing. An equivalent combination of education and experience providing proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed may substitute for the above requirements.
