Overview Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Rochester, NY. Travel assignment in a hospital setting managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Contract duration: 13 weeks, starting July 6, 2026. Shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm Monday–Friday; procedures may extend to 4:30 pm. No on‑call duties, no guaranteed hours, no weekend requirements. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,780–$3,048 per week Guaranteed hours: none Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm Monday–Friday; some procedures may extend to 4:30 pm Start date: July 6, 2026 Setting: travel assignment in a hospital in Rochester, NY Responsibilities Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise. Deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Acquire and process diagnostic images; conduct daily quality control; maintain radiopharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines. Manage and document patient data in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Partner with leadership to implement new technologies and continuously enhance imaging protocols. Conduct specialized studies including SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis imaging, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by PET viability/sarcoid imaging. Requirements Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required. NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred. Minimum two years of Nuclear Medicine experience; six months of Cardiac Imaging experience required. Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred.
