Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Endoscopy Lab, Danville, VA. This position provides nursing care for adult patients undergoing gastrointestinal and bronchoscopy procedures, including pre- and post-procedure support. The role requires endoscopy experience and participation in a collaborative procedural care environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week; weekend call is rotated among the nursing team.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start; Associate degree in Nursing required; minimum of 2 years of experience required, including prior endoscopy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provides care for adult patients undergoing screening colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy procedures. Patient assignments may include one-to-one coverage during procedures and up to one nurse for three patients in pre- and post-procedure areas. A positive attitude and team-oriented approach are expected.
