MO-SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital – 1201 Grand, Saint Louis, MO Job Summary Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. The position must perform at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placement. Primary Responsibilities Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity; monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy program. Experience No experience required. Licensing and Certifications State of Illinois: BLS HCP – AHA; ARRT-R, ARRT-T, ARRT-N, CNMT, ARRT-CT or CT Credential – ARRT or NMTCB; Radiology Technologists – Illinois Emergency Management Agency. State of Missouri, Oklahoma: BLS HCP – AHA; ARRT-R, ARRT-T, ARRT-N, CNMT, ARRT-CT or CT Credential – ARRT or NMTCB. State of Wisconsin: BLS HCP – AHA; ARRT-R, ARRT-T, ARRT-N, CNMT, ARRT-CT or CT Credential – ARRT or NMTCB; Radiographer, Licensed – Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. Work Shift Variable Shift (United States of America) Job Type Employee Department 4218000037 Radiology Admin Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Schedule Highlights Flexible days, nights, weekends full and part time as well as PRN available. Pay Range: $32.48 – $48.72 per hour with daily pay available. Shift Differentials: Evening $2.50/hour, Night $3/hour, Weekend $2/hour, Weekend Option $7.50/hour. Sign On Bonus: Up to $20,000 payable within 30 days of start date. Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified external candidates.
