Clinic Medical Assistant - Full Time

Medical Assistant Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant The Medical Assistant/Clinical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with patient care and acts as the coordinator of care for patients before, during, and after office visits. This role includes preparing patients for visits, documenting vitals, maintaining exam room standards, performing basic clinical procedures, assisting with wound care and casting, and ensuring effective communication between patients and providers across multiple locations. This is a full-time position with Monday through Prepare patients for visits, including rooming, obtaining vitals, reviewing intake paperwork, prepping materials, and accurately entering data into the EMR system. Assist with cast and soft goods application and removal, as well as suture and staple removal. Assist providers in preparing prescriptions and completing patient forms (work release, disability, FMLA, etc.). Retrieve and respond to voicemails within 24 business hours and document actions in the EMR system. Prepare patients’ electronic charts and verify testing results prior to visits. Maintain medical supply inventory and ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment. Scan clinical documents into the EMR system and print daily schedules. Ensure patients receive education regarding medical treatment and therapies. Maintain a clean workspace and follow all practice/site-specific protocols. High school diploma or GED required. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
