Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Critical Care in ICU or Emergency Room License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: One year of Critical Care experience in ICU or Emergency Room Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Description: Data Collection: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 6 Number of Staff: 8 RNs, 4 Paramedics, 4 Rad Techs, and 1 US Tech Type of Staff: Day Shift: 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Rad Tech, and 1 Physician Night Shift: 2 RNs, 1 Paramedic, 1 Rad Tech, and 1 Physician Patient Ratios: 4-to-1, with team nursing due to limited beds Type of Equipment: Lucas Device, EKG Machine, BiPaP, Glidescope, and general emergency equipment and supplies EMR: Meditech Typical Hiring Profile: Most recruited for: Critical Care experience Preferred: Freestanding experience, lab experience List of Typical Procedures: Standard emergency care EKG monitoring, blood draw, and medication administration Best Personality Fit: N/A Floating Areas: None Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Standard policies and guidelines Weekends and On Call: Rotating weekends, on-call if necessary (but not required) General Comments: Number of Positions: 1
