Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Communications in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points, observe activity within the location, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess at least two years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
