If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.**Role & Responsibilities:*** Responsible for creating and effecting property tax strategies across core real estate sectors with an emphasis on driving best in class property tax performance by improving bottom-line profitability* Lead a geographically dispersed property tax team focused on performance and team development* Manage the property tax appeal process and the property compliance process including budgeting for covered assets without proportional cost growth* Collaborate cross-functionally with Asset Management and Investments to support platform decision making* Continual assessment of scope of assets with an emphasis on growth using AI enabled and developed strategies**Your Qualifications:*** Undergraduate/Graduate degree in accounting, finance or related field* Experience in all aspects of team management and personnel growth* Technical background in ad valorem taxation of real and personal property tax and property tax accounting* Property tax appeals experience - direct representation before multiple jurisdictions in multiple states, for multiple property classes as well as external advisor selection and management* Demonstrated flexibility related to changing priorities* Excellent communication skills* Curiosity about technological innovations in property tax space* Advanced knowledge of property tax advisors and databases**Your Career @ Brookfield:**At Brookfield, your career progression is important to us.
