A successful candidate is a strategic business partner who combines technical accounting expertise with strong leadership and business acumen. This individual is highly organized, data-driven, collaborative, and committed to supporting operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance. Requirements Key Responsibilities Lead all regionalaccounting and financialreporting activities including identifying opportunities to expedite the month-end close process. Ensure the timelyand accurate preparationofmonthly, quarterly, andannual financial statements. Lead and develop a process to monitor financial performanceand provide analysisof key businessdrivers, trends, andvariances. Provide recommendationsto improve profitabilityand operational efficiency. Accounting & Compliance Ensure compliance withGenerally Accepted AccountingPrinciples (GAAP), companypolicies, and regulatoryrequirements. Maintain strong internalcontrols to safeguardcompany assets. Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, andmonth-end/year-end closeprocesses. Coordinate internal andexternal audits andimplement audit recommendations. Ensure compliance withtax reporting andstatutory requirementsin coordination withcorporate finance. Leadership & Operations Lead, mentor, anddevelop regional accountingand finance staff. Build a cultureof accountability, collaboration, and continuousimprovement. Partner with regionaloperational leaders tosupport business objectivesand strategic initiatives. Evaluate and improvefinancial processes andreporting systems. Support acquisitions,integrations, and otherspecial projects asneeded. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Finance, orrelated field required. MBA or advanceddegree is aplus. Experience 8-12 yearsof progressive accountingand finance experience. Minimum of 3-5 years ina leadership orcontrollerrole. Experience overseeing multi-location or regionalfinancial operations. Strong knowledge ofGAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with Sageaccounting software and Service Titan ispreferred. Experience in the commercial HVAC and plumbing industry is preferred. Periodic regional Travel - 10%-25% Strong financial analysisand strategicplanning skills. Excellent leadership andteam development abilities. Exceptional analytical andproblem-solving capabilities. High level ofintegrity and ethicaljudgment. Strong communicationand presentation skills. Ability to influencecross-functional teamsand senior leadership. Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel andfinancial reporting tools. Strong project managementand organizational skills. Ability to managemultiple priorities ina fast-pacedenvironment.
