Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides advanced radiation therapy treatments, including SBRT, SRS, and complex CT simulations, ensuring accurate delivery and image analysis. Utilizes expertise to support departmental training, quality assurance, and safety initiatives within a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex radiation therapy procedures such as SBRT, SRS, and CT simulations.
• Analyze imaging and resolve setup variances to ensure precise treatment delivery.
• Support training and mentorship for students and new staff members.
• Participate in daily equipment QA and coordinate maintenance or service needs.
• Lead safety, quality improvement initiatives, and stay current with emerging technologies.
• Assist in incident learning, peer review processes, and manage charge reconciliation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Exhibit competency in CT Simulation and SRS/SBRT delivery, with Brainlab experience preferred.
• Complete Radiation Therapist II Competency Advancement Checklist.
• Possess ARRT R, (T) licensure and an up-to-date state license.
• Have 1-2 years of travel therapy experience.
• Proficient in EMR systems such as EPIC and ARIAL.
