Join Our Advanced Heart Failure Team

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to enhance our expanding clinic. As a key player in Iowa's premier community-based Advanced Heart Failure Program, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists, providing cutting-edge therapies and fostering innovation in heart failure management throughout the state.

Opportunity Highlights

• Become part of a team consisting of 4 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider.
• Manage an average of 13-17 patients daily in the clinic.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4 weeks.
• Utilize the recently approved Barostim procedure.
• Engage in implantable fluid monitoring, LVAD management, echocardiogram interpretation, nuclear medicine, and various cardiac imaging/testing.
• Benefit from two exam rooms allocated per provider.
• Participate in shared outreach clinic opportunities once a month.
• Serve a tertiary service area with a population of 1.5 million.

Opportunity Details

• Enjoy a 3-year income guarantee structure: $600,000 in the first year, $625,000 in the second year, and $650,000 in the third year.

Recognized as one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals by Fortune/IBM Health, our center comprises 44 Physicians and provides a wide range of services, including General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Preventative Cardiology, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.

Our accredited Cardiology Fellowship program hosts 8 Fellows and operates from 8 primary office locations, serving over 15 outreach facilities across Iowa. With an active clinic research department, we participate in all major STS registries and conduct more than 10,000 cardiac interventions annually.
