Overview The registered nurse in the Med Surg department works the night shift from 1830 to 0700, providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care by applying the nursing process and organizational policies. They demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking, collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive experience. Responsibilities New graduates or RNs in good standing licensed in Arkansas; BSN preferred. Utilizes basic knowledge and skills to meet care standards and functions as a full partner within the interdisciplinary team. Participates in required training, including CPR; specialty areas may require additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS. Authorized for 72 hours bi-weekly, adhering to organizational policies and departmental procedures. Qualifications Arkansas RN license in good standing; BSN preferred. Clinical competence and critical thinking; ability to collaborate with the healthcare team. Participation in required trainings and certifications as applicable (CPR, ACLS, PALS, NALS).
