• Experience with banking, payment processing, settlements, and ISO 20022 payment files.
• Experience integrating Workday with third-party vendors and external applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and production support skills.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integration Developer to join our HR Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting complex Workday integrations across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Financial Management systems.

The candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Workday integration technologies, banking and payment interfaces, third-party system integrations, and production support. This role requires close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, and external vendor teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workday Integration Development

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations.
• Work extensively with Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
• Develop and support integrations using Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs) and Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS).
• Ensure integration solutions meet business requirements and technical standards.

2. Benefits & Payroll Integrations

• Develop and support integrations with benefits vendors, insurance carriers, wellness providers, and payroll partners.
• Build and maintain payroll integrations using PECI, PICOF, and custom payroll interfaces.
• Troubleshoot payroll and benefits data transmission issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity across integrated systems.

3. Financial & Banking Integrations

• Develop and support financial integrations related to banking, settlements, payment processing, Accounts Payable, and Treasury operations.
• Work with ISO 20022 payment files, vendor payment interfaces, and banking integrations.
• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury teams to support payment processing and regulatory requirements.

4. Technical Design & Data Transformation

• Develop integration solutions using XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Design and maintain scalable integration architectures and data transformation logic.
• Ensure secure and efficient data exchange between Workday and external systems.

5. Reporting & Document Generation

• Develop and maintain Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
• Support Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS) integrations.
• Work with BIRT-based document generation to meet business and compliance requirements.

6. Production Support & Maintenance

• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in release planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational support procedures.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, and external vendors.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations on Workday integration best practices.
