Job Title

RN - OB / Labor and Delivery (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
• Float to Labor and Delivery / LDRP units as required
• Utilize and navigate Epic and Cerner EMR systems for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification
• Demonstrated experience with both Epic and Cerner EMR systems within the last 5 years
• LDRP experience required due to floating requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
• Prior experience supporting or working through an Epic EMR conversion
