Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Splices rolls of foam together.Measures and ensures correctness of product specifications.Keeps foam properly guides to avoid unscheduled shutdowns.Provides lead operator with accurate input information and ensures proper rotation of inventory.Assist in product changeovers.Helps move rolls.Keeps area clean, organized and operational.Has ability to perform simple arithmetic including fractions & decimals.Must be able to read, understand and comply with plant and company policies and procedures such as S.O.P., S.E.P., ETC. which are all written in English. Must be able to fill out quality records and other production-related reports.Mentor new employeesMust be able to assist maintenance with repairs and adjustment of the machine.Keep your area clean and organized throughout the shift in accordance with 5s standards.Communicate with supervisor when non-conforming product.Stops production to correct quality problems.Environmental aspect and impact awareness.Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions processTraining Required:Training PlanJob DetailsJob Type: Full-time RegularCategory: ManufacturingSalaried: Hourly
