Radiology - CT Tech

CT Tech / Radiology Technologists perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and CT, while ensuring patient safety protocols are in place. As the first line of interaction with patients, Radiology Techs play a crucial role in the effective execution of imaging needs. Responsibilities Promote a professional image by adhering to the established dress code. Maximize job potential by attending all mandatory education and in-service programs. Ensure punctuality to work and assignments in accordance with department standards. Comply with all hospital confidentiality and HIPAA requirements. Accurately maintain Medical Imaging patient medical records. Perform office-related duties in the absence of office staff. Review patient requisitions for consistency and accuracy. Assess patient conditions and ensure safety through proper use of restraint/support devices. Communicate pertinent data to the care team following procedures. Participate in training and orientation of new employees. Observe established safety rules and regulations to ensure patient comfort and care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Graduation from an accredited/approved school of radiology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). CPR/AED and CT certifications are required.
