About the Position

Job Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience - HFNC, BIPAP, stable GTT management experience - Experience with POD#1 CABG, AVR, MVR procedures - Cardiovascular and Vascular experience - AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, STEMI - Experience with ACS, pacers, sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding - Post-DKA, respiratory failure, tracheostomy Description: This is a 30-bed stepdown unit. The position requires floating between critical care service lines. Candidates should have experience with high-flow nasal cannula and bi-level positive airway pressure. Stable glycemic management is essential. Knowledge of various cardiovascular procedures is required. The role involves managing patients post-operatively from CABG, AVR, and MVR surgeries. Experience in handling both NSTEMI and STEMI cases is crucial. Candidates must also be familiar with managing acute coronary syndromes, pacemakers, and sepsis. Experience with gastrointestinal bleeding, post-diabetic ketoacidosis, respiratory failure, and tracheostomy care is necessary.
