SMC Primary Care in Deland, Florida is seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Come grow with us.

Requirements:

MUST be a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities:

Immediate opening. Busy Family Practice looking for a Medical Assistant to preform direct patient care including vital signs, procedures and treatments under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physician and Practice Manager. Job responsibilities include but or not limited to: utilizing EMR, data entry of patient information, assisting in all medical procedures, triaging phone calls, phlebotomy and injections. This position requires the medical assistant to demonstrates a professional and caring image at all times while maintaining patient confidentiality. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BIlingual Engish/Spanish

Completion of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited school.

Current certification or the ability to obtain certification through AAMA, NAHP or RMA with ARMA or AMT within one year of employment required.

Current Professional Rescuer CPR Certification.

Ability to remain professional when working under stressful situations.​

Pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
