As a Security Officer Full Time Roving Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support security-related operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed conditions and/or notifying the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas such as data halls, equipment rooms, and other controlled spaces.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance issues, monitoring for environmental or operational irregularities, and communicating relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
