Pilates Instructor

Job Title HPI Pilates Instructor Availability Morning shifts are available, with a greatest need for afternoon and early evening coverage. Saturday availability is highly preferred. Positions are available at Highland Park and Morton Grove locations. Job Type Part-time Summary The focus of this position is to provide optimal Pilates instruction to patients and clients in accordance with the Health Performance Institute’s integrative care model. The main objectives include collaborating with clinical rehabilitation staff, promoting Pilates with orthopedic rehabilitation patients, building a private client base, leading group Pilates classes, and promoting growth of the Pilates program overall. Responsibilities Lead group Pilates classes of various levels, including mat and equipment-based sessions Provide individualized instruction and corrections to ensure proper form and technique Develop creative and engaging Pilates routines to challenge and motivate clients Maintain a clean and organized studio space Uphold studio values of inclusivity, positivity, and respect Integrate with physical therapists, trainers, and other wellness professionals Perform all other duties as assigned Maintain a safe work environment Education High school diploma or equivalent Certifications and Licensure Certified Pilates Instructor with a reputable certification (e.g., STOTT Pilates, Balanced Body, Polestar Pilates, Merrithew, Power Pilates, etc.) CPR/AED certified Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching Pilates classes preferred Technical Skills Strong understanding of anatomy and biomechanics Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate varying fitness levels and injuries Passion for promoting health and wellness through Pilates Physical Requirements Stand or sit for extended periods of time Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long and short term disability, 401k program with company match and profit sharing, wellness program, health savings accounts, flexible savings accounts, ID protection plan and accident, critical illness and hospital benefits Paid holidays and paid time off Salary $40.00-$60.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Statement Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
