Job Summary The Echo Technician is responsible for performing echocardiography studies, managing patient transport, distributing final reports, and maintaining data management systems. The technician will also be cross‑trained in EKG, Holters, stress testing, and other duties as assigned by the department director. The role requires 24/7 availability and effective communication with department and hospital staff. What you will do in this role: Perform 2D, M‑Mode, Doppler Echo. Perform Needle Guided Paracentesis. Follow expectations, ethics, and compliance standards: All employees are accountable for behavior consistent with the mission and values, and are required to attend annual Code of Conduct training. Perform carotid artery scans. Perform heart Dopplers. Perform peripheral arterial scans. Perform peripheral venous scans. Measure segmental blood pressure. Conduct Stress Echocardiogram, pharmaceutical, and treadmill tests. Assist with TEE procedures. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
