Medical Assistant

Medical AssistantWashington DC Pay From: $22 per hour MUST: The Oncology Medical Assistant must have experience: 4+ years of experience as a medical assistant Working in a high volume multi provider practice site Experience in an oncology practice preferred Strong experience drawing blood Administer EKG's Maintain logs Perform laboratory Assisting with exams and procedures including infusions BLS HS diploma DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Draw blood Obtain vitals and medical histories Document detailed patient information in EMR Assist physicians with exams and procedures Administer injections Maintain exam/treatment room disinfection protocols Respond to patients' calls Perform other administrative duties Alert nurse/physician of abnormal labs or vitals Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
