Production Operator
Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the door production process. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay Range: $22 per hour
Shift: Day shift, Monday - Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm
What's the Job?
- Operate the automated Seimpelkamp foam system on the manufacturing line.
- Accurately complete daily production and scrap reporting.
- Perform routine checks, including temperature settings and foam density assessments.
- Calibrate chemicals used within the process to ensure quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
What's Needed?
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High level of dexterity and skill in assembling doors and performing quality checks.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and schedules.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual carts safely and effectively.
