Merchant Brand Representative

Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Merchant Brand Representative to build retail partner relationships, increase program visibility, and support business growth across your territory. This is a full‑time, regular position located in the Seattle market (AMRET, WA). Schedule: Monday through Friday. Pay: $25 per hour plus a 10% monthly bonus opportunity. The role is field‑based and requires daily travel within your assigned territory. A personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening are required. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within the assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations. Conduct 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. Execute in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up independently. Drive merchant awareness within the assigned territory and maintain professional interaction with merchants and their employees. Attempt to place point‑of‑purchase signage on the exterior and/or interior of business. Advise merchants by providing information on products and services. Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising displays, and merchant feedback. Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products. Assist in launch‑related activities and contribute to team effort as needed. Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations and ensure feedback reporting is submitted in a timely manner. Desired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum six months of prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Maintain customer confidentiality. Reliable transportation within the assigned territory.
