Boley Centers, Inc., a nationally recognized and accredited behavioral health care agency, has openings for **Morningside Pool Staff**.Pool staff at Boley's Morningside Safe Haven facility document services provided to residents per individualized Service Implementation Plans and maintains a safe and secure residential environment by performing security checks, bed checks and crisis interventions.**QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE****Who are Pool Staff?**Pool Staff are on-call staff who backup employees by working available shifts to fill gaps in schedules to ensure adequate coverage at Morningside Safe Haven, which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.**Who is the ideal Pool Staff candidate?**Students, retirees and anyone looking to earn additional income.**When and how are schedules posted?**Schedules are posted every 2 weeks on When to Work (Boley's online platform).**How do I determine which shifts I will work?**No pressure! You select which shifts you are available to work. Shifts include 7 am - 3 pm (1st shift), 3 pm - 11 pm (2nd shift) or 11 pm - 7 am (3rd shift).**How often am I expected to work a shift?**Pool staff are expected to work at least one shift every month.**What are the maximum number of hours I can work in one week?**29 hours.**What training do I need?**We’ve got you covered! Pool staff will receive at least one week of paid onsite training, to ensure it's a good fit for them and Boley.**What are the required qualifications?**Should have at least a high school diploma/GED, be able to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen. If working first (7 am - 3 pm) or second (3 pm - 11 pm) shifts, must have a valid Florida driver’s license.**What’s the compensation?**Base compensation is $16.00 an hour**Could this lead to a full-time job?**Yes! Pool staff who have worked with no break in service/pool work assignments, consisting of ninety (90) days or more, may request to be transferred to a regular status position by completing a new employment application.## Qualifications* High School Diploma/GED* Six months of experience working in a human service organization. 30 hours of college credits can be substituted for experience. Experience working with individuals with mental illness preferred.* Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, living skills training, medication monitoring.* Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen.* Valid Florida driver's license required.Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse helps ensure that caregivers, health workers, and educators meet Level 2 background screening standards before they can work with children, seniors, or other vulnerable groups.
