Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, consulting with stakeholders to create pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment strategies.

  • Ensure timely and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.

  • Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies, coordinating closely with the clinical team to tailor treatment approaches to individual needs.

  • Collaborate effectively with our behavioral health team to create and implement positive behavior support plans.
  • \n
  • Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring all services provided meet organizational and regulatory standards.

  • Function as a liaison to external service systems, state agencies, and community partners, working to bridge gaps in services and support.
  • \n
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to uphold contract standards while promoting the mission of Sibley Psychotherapy Services within the community.

  • Network with local, state, and federal agencies to promote our programs, identify collaborative opportunities, and secure funding sources.
  • \n
  • Engage in continuous professional development through attendance at conferences, workshops, and statewide meetings, representing the agency's interests and enhancing expertise.

  • Promote and embed the agency's mission, values, and principles in daily operations.
  • \n
  • Perform other duties as designated by the Clinic Director, contributing to the growing needs of our service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking mental health support within the Springfield community and surrounding areas. You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to emotional distress, substance use, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Through person-centered and culturally responsive care, you will tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, aiding their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's Degree in the mental health field (e.g., Counseling, Psychology, Social Work) is required.

  • Possession of an independent LMHC license is necessary for this role.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience in an outpatient counseling setting is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and practices related to substance use and recovery is beneficial.
