Recruiter (Bilingual English & Spanish) – Job Description SDI Management LLC Company: SDI Management LLC Position: Recruiter (Bilingual English & Spanish) Department: Human Resources Location: Corporate Office - Mt. Morris, PA Direct Report: Director, Human Resources Status: Full-Time (Exempt – Administrative)/At-Will Purpose: This is a full-time, on-site Recruiter position based in Mount Morris, PA. The Recruiter will actively facilitate the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing qualified candidates to meet the staffing demands of the organization. Responsibilities include working closely with department leaders to identify hiring needs, maintaining job postings, coordinating with external recruitment channels, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. As a bilingual professional (Spanish & English), the Recruiter will also contribute to engaging a wider talent pool and fostering diversity within the organization. Job Duties: Receive and process recruiting requests from hiring managers Partner with co-workers and hiring managers to develop, maintain, and optimize job descriptions Become familiar with position job requirements by partnering with operations and actively observing workplace activities Complete key performance indicator mapping with operations leadership to optimize candidate identification and selection Post openings to applicant tracking system and market openings through media outlets, social media, and IGO/NGO partnership channels Utilize applicant tracking system to review and disposition candidates for assigned requisitions Perform phone screens to identify qualified new hire candidates that fit the current needs of operations teams Submit prescreened candidates and prescreen notes to hiring managers Schedule candidates and applicable hiring managers for interviews Extend management approved job offers to selected candidates in accordance with department policy and practice Expand talent pipelines by leveraging social media, media outlets, and third-party recruitment platforms Schedule selected candidates for onboarding and subsequently for any required pre-placement training Conduct employee onboarding / new hire training sessions as directed Attend local career fairs, trade school open houses, industry shows, and other recruitment centric events to identify qualified personnel for recruitment Maintain and disseminate the department’s recruitment calendar Submit proposed event budget and needs list to Management for approval Advertise event through media outlets and social media All other duties as assigned by Company management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to fluently communicate in both English and Spanish Ability to manage stressful situations and difficult candidates, hiring managers, and partners professionally Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize assignments Ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written form Ability to execute recruitment management initiatives and independently manage third party search firms when necessary Ability to proficiently utilize MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) Possess an understanding of the full life-cycle recruitment process Possess an understanding of how to map and source resumes from unconventional recruitment resources Possess an understanding of how to complete social media data mining and internet candidate search practices Experience: 3+ years of recruitment experience in the energy, oil & gas, or heavy civil construction industry Physical Requirements: Ability to be physically seated for long periods of time in a standard issue desk chair Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week including weekend assignments when required Ability to visually tolerate prolonged exposure to computer screens, mobile device (phones, tablets, etc.) screens Ability to read documents and materials in hard and soft copy form (either naturally or with corrective lenses) Ability to walk, step, climb stairs to access or otherwise move from one location to another which normally involves walking within and around locations and when required to climb and descend stairs to access areas as required Ability to visually see well (either naturally or with corrective lenses) Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, and sit for long periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to and including 50 lb. objects as required Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all-weather conditions as required Education: BA or BS in Business, Human Resources or a related field of study; however, candidates with professional experience will be considered in leu of education if their professional experience demonstrates the ability to perform the tasks listed in the position's job responsibilities section Travel: As required EEO: SDI Management LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabilities and protected veteran status #J-18808-Ljbffr Shaft Drillers International
