Registered Nurse - PRN

Position Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring it meets age and population-specific standards. The RN manages resident care across all phases, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment, and is responsible for resident education and care coordination. Key Duties: May serve as charge nurse, delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, provide support to ensure safe care, and function within the scope of nursing practice per state regulations. The role involves assessing residents, coordinating care, and ensuring quality standards are met. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in the practicing state. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience requirements vary, including clinical experience or prior RN work. Certification may be required for specialized areas.
