Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a small, community-based Emergency Room setting
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 14-bed unit
• Utilize Epic for electronic medical record documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Perform wound care assessments in coordination with virtual wound care support
• Collaborate with on-site ambulance personnel to facilitate patient transfers when higher-level care is required
• Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements prior to start date, with all documents due the Tuesday before the start date
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or post-onsite

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Spacelabs monitoring systems and SBAR communication framework
• Experience working in a small or community-based Emergency Room environment
• Comfort with floating to a secondary facility location when needed
