Bus Driver Opportunity

Happy Day Transit has provided bus, livery, and ambulette transportation services in New York City since 1982. We are a family-owned business that currently operates 75 vehicles. We are hiring drivers to expand our operations in Brooklyn and Queens.

Available full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities of a bus driver include: Driving fixed routes to and from various locations in Brooklyn and Queens. Drivers are responsible for completing a vehicle inspection before the trip, operating the vehicle carefully in accordance with traffic regulations, and ensuring that all passengers are transported safely and punctually.

Requirements:

• Must have a New York State commercial drivers license (Class C, B, or A) with the "P" passenger endorsement.
• School bus "S" endorsement preferred, but not required
• Sorry, we cannot accept a commercial license with the "N2" restriction
• 8 points or less on your drivers record
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

By subway: L train to Wilson Avenue or J/Z to Chauncey Street.

By car: Take Central Avenue to the dead-end on Pilling Street.
