Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations per physician orders, ensuring correct patient identification, positioning, exposure, and image quality.
• Operate imaging modalities including CT (if trained), fluoroscopy, C-Arm, and portable radiography, following ALARA safety practices.
• Provide direct patient care during imaging, assess patient comfort, monitor for contraindications, and communicate results to the referring team.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain imaging equipment; follow quality control procedures and maintain accurate documentation in patient records.
• Support workflow at multiple sites as needed, including patient registrations and light clerical tasks to assist walk-in teams.
• Maintain flexibility to cover a rotating schedule and to travel between site locations within the region as staffing needs arise.

Requirements

• Active ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.)
• Maine Radiologic Technologist Licensure
• BLS Certification
• 2+ years of hospital radiology experience
• CT training or experience is preferred
• Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to rotating shifts (day, evening, overnight, weekends)
