Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of components by conducting visual inspections and using measurement tools to assess compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of materials and components.
• Document inspection results using the ERP system.
• Visually inspect metal and glass parts for defects and non-conformities.
• Verify the quality and quantity of parts received.
• Operate X-ray inspection equipment to inspect parts and identify internal defects.
• Record inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records.
• Report quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements.
• Operate under minimal oversight and supervision after the training period.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inspection and quality control.
• Experience with calipers for precise measurements.
• Ability to conduct visual inspections and final inspections.
• Experience with First Article Inspection and Incoming Inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for ERP data entry and documentation.
• Ability to operate X-ray inspection equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow inspection procedures.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a clean room production floor, Class 10,000. The role requires operating inspection equipment, including X-ray machines, and maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy. Employees should be able to work independently with minimal supervision after the training period.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsboro, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
