Job Summary:
An outpatient infusion and oncology registered nurse position is available in Lacey, Washington. Candidates are responsible for providing chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to oncology patients, as well as managing hematology and non-oncology infusions. The role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5x8 Days (Monday-Friday), 07:30 AM 04:00 PM; shifts may vary, work until last patient is seen; no holidays or weekends.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license; Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC); Basic Life Support (BLS); 0+ years of experience; experience in an infusion center or outpatient oncology; IM Subcutaneous injection experience; Therapeutic phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncologic Certified Nurse (OCN).
• Patient Ratios: 70 patients per day across adult and geriatric populations with oncology, hematology, and other infusions.
• Additional Information: Must have Chemo Certification to administer chemotherapy. Prior inpatient oncology experience may be considered. Clinical skills include managing ports, infusion pump management, IV management, handling adverse reactions, and patient/family education. Equipment includes private rooms, chairs, and infusion pumps.
• Certifications: Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC) and BLS are required; OCN is preferred.
• References: Two references covering the past year (six months for CNAs) are required during the compliance process.
