Mail Clerk

Heyl Royster is a large, fast-paced law firm seeking motivated, organized, and reliable individual for a full-time Mail Clerk opening in our Edwardsville office.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MAIL CLERK

As a Mail Clerk, you will spend most of your time handling electronic and paper mail in an office environment - sorting, organizing, and sending. You will independently and correctly scan, save, and email documents. You will efficiently and thoroughly manage digital document filing, including encrypted documents and email correspondence. You will excel at processing reports in both electronic and paper form. You will fill handle other general office duties that could include reception, front desk, etc. You will also provide excellent customer service to the attorneys, paralegals, and staff. Qualifications To Be a Mail Clerk Must have excellent computer skills working with Microsoft Office and office equipment such as a photocopier, scanner, etc. Exceptional attention to detail required Prior office or law firm experience a bonus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational skills High school diploma or equivalent required Despite a fast pace and short timeframes, you excel and are efficient and thorough with multiple-large-volume tasks. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to help improve processes and documentation to minimize errors. Do you have solid communication skills? Compensation And Benefits The base salary range is $15.50 to $20.00 an hour. The salary offered will take into account several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications/credentials, talent availability and specialization, as well as business needs. The range may be modified in the future.
