Team Leader
A Team Leader consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a servant's heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have a strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our team leaders are responsible for supporting the senior management in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. The two main areas of focus for a Team Leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training and developing team members. Team leaders lead by example and set the tone for others to follow.
Type of position: Full-time and part-time

Responsibilities of the team leader:
- Participating operationally in daily activities in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants
- Offering immediate and respectful response to guest needs
- Helping in the training of new employees, setting the tone for a shift, and acting as a role model for our team
- Being a kind and motivating team player
- Opening and/or closing, leading changes, key holder
- Counting drawers and end of day
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Qualifications and requirements:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong social skills with a desire to serve team members
- Strong commitment to superior customer service
- Ability to manage team member behavior and performance issues
- Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
- Previous experience as a shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team leader, restaurant manager, or assistant restaurant manager is not required but preferred.
Most Chick-fil-A restaurants are managed by independent franchise business owners who make all their own business decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
